Postcards from the Imagination

In other words, my daughter's staying on with us full-time after the summer!!! I was a stay-at-home mom from Birth to 3 yrs., and a single mom from 3-6 yrs. Being away from her these past few years has been [understatement]rough[/understatement] for both of us. I'm thrilled beyond speech that she'll finally be able to share this life I've been away building for us, thrilled that she's decided to give Seth and I this chance though she's not been unhappy living with her dad and his wife, and grateful as hell to have such a supportive partner.

That said, don't expect me to fade away into Mommyhood. I'll be around much more once school starts and we settle into our respective routines.
